The LBG Career Center is the first point of contact for all questions relating to career development.
It supports young researchers from the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft and all Austrian universities on their individual career paths, while also strengthening the development of all employees within the LBG – from research to science support activities.
As a flexible service hub, the Career Center offers confidential one-to-one counselling, practical workshops, targeted events and access to a vibrant, cross-disciplinary and cross-sector community. It creates spaces for open exchange, collegial networking and concrete orientation – both within and outside academia.
With innovative ideas for career development, the LBG Career Center promotes individual development, transparent career paths and the attractiveness of Austria as a research location. It sees itself as a bridge builder between science, business and society – and as a sparring partner for researchers and managers who see their career not just as a line, but as a path of development.
