After a brief introduction of the LBG by Jürgen Busch, Margit Noll, the new Head of Department for European and International Programs at FFG, gave an overview of the Austrian Horizon success rates, new proposed partnerships, the national ERA Action Plan, the FFG Mission Management Unit and FFG Europe (including the cooperation with IGLO). Martin Baumgartner gave an update on the lump sums and the new optional personnel unit costs as well as a summary of the FFG clearing event. In the second session, Daniel Spichtinger presented on the state of open science, followed by a short presentation by Patrick Danowski on open science at ISTA.

After lunch, we discussed EU activities on foreign interference (Bedanna Bepuly) and experiences with audits (ISTA). We concluded with a presentation on the Visual History of the Holocaust, a Horizon project led by Ingo Zechner from LBI Digital History. The event concluded with a guided tour of the historic Postsparkasse building organized by the ÖAW.
